An adorable Reflective Snowman -pendant is designed together with my 6 years old goddauhter.

Attaching mechanism as a default is a keyring with a lobster claw. You can choose a safety-pin with cotton thread instead.

Attention. This product has not been through a qualification approval process to give it the permission to be called a safety reflector. This product can increase your visibility when used with a reflector.

The reflective products of AAlan Design are handcrafted in Jyväskylä, Central Finland. The patterns are machine embroidered with rayon thread and can be seen on both sides.

This adorable snowman shines marvelously even when its dim, when light catches it in a right angle. The reflective pendant is made of quality reflective fabric. In between the fabrics on both sides is an upholstery fabric remnant to bring some softness for the pendant.

Attention. This product has not gone through qualification approval process to give it the permission to be called safety reflector. The reflective fabric used in this product is produced according to the ISO 9000 -standard. The material fulfills the demands for the following standards:

EN ISO 20471:2013 (High Visibility Warning Clothing)
ANSI_ISEA107 2004 (High Visibility Safety Apparel).

A reflective pendant out of a drawing

This year I received my first christmas card from my goddaughter, which she had made herself. It was a happy snowman with a black top silk hat drawn to A4-paper. It has been smiling disarmingly on our fridge door since. This was such a heart melting gesture and drawing, that I longed to savour it in a more enduring way.

She gave me a permission to use the drawing in an embroidery pattern designing. After reproducing it to a computer we adjusted it with my goddaughter a little to make it better fitting in a reflective pendant.

Together we test stitched first on a fabric the embroidery design I made from the drawing, and made the alterations needed. The first test piece we managed to create was given to enlighten her grandmother’s day. After a few more alterations and the final program was ready. The first Reflective Snowman naturally ended up in my goddaughters snowsuit.

Of course, a small profit from every sold Reflective Snowman goes to Amalia.
