Origins in Central Finland

All my products I have designed and handcrafted in Jyväskylä, Central Finland.

The materials are mainly from Finland when ever it is possible.

Handcrafted products

My products are thoughtfully designed. I aim to beautifully handcraft quality products for use.

The products are handcrafted from the scratch. The patterns used are partly my own designs. And partly a selection of meaningful patterns from the skilful hands of the people in Urban Threads.

Along with my hands, the most valuable tools for me, are my laptop and sewing machine with the embroidering attachment.

Considering the Nature

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle:

• With the careful planning of cutting and using the fabrics, I end up little fabric waste.
• Re-using the fabrics of proof sewings for new patterns and products as the lining material of purses and bags.
• Using mainly natural materials and fabric remnants in the products.
• Using local upholstery fabric remnants in The Dragonfly Collection.

• Avoiding the use of plastic in packaging, or re-using the incoming plastics.
• Re-using the incoming packaging materials.
• Recycling the waste properly (glass, plastic, metal, paper, cartong, energy).

Using hydroelectricity in the production.
